  • Indianapolis is a "City of Neighborhoods."

  • The downtown residential market is seeing continued strong growth, with over 860 new and renovated units projected over the next three years.

  • Urban neighborhoods continue to be redeveloped, with Over 5,300 new and renovated affordable housing units since 1990.  Mayor Greg Ballard is committed to affordable housing opportunities as outlined in the nationally-recognized Blueprint to End Homelessness.

Fall Creek Place


Fall Creek Place is an innovative, urban neighborhood project that turned a dilapidated area into a prospering middle-class neighborhood with 300 new and rehabbed homes.  The project won a national award from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development and was featured in “Better Homes & Gardens”.  Newly constructed homes sit alongside restored historic homes in a neighborhood with new parks, new sidewalks, and other amenities all less than two miles from the heart of downtown.

Conrad International Hotel & Condominiums


The downtown Conrad Hotel was completed in 2006 and is located directly across the street from the Circle Centre Mall retail center.  At 23-stories, the hotel contains 241 guest rooms, 23 corner suites, 16 luxury condominiums, 30 apartments, a spa and fitness center, and a restaurant.  The hotel was the third Conrad hotel to be built in the U.S.
