Brownfields Grant Program
Based on 50/50 matching funds, this maximum $20,000 grant is to be used for the assessment and/or remediation
of a brownfield or contaminated site. Non-profit organizations are eligible. For-profit businesses may apply
in conjunction with a neighborhood non-profit organization. Loans are also available.

Facade Grant Program
Businesses may apply for a rebate of up to 50% of total cost, not to exceed $10,000, for construction and other
work done to improve the facade of the business. Design assistance is also available.

Tax Abatement
Businesses can qualify for property tax abatement by applying for designation as an Economic Revitalization Area.
This designation applies to new or expanding businesses and must be based on improvements being made to the property,
including installation of new manufacturing or research and development equipment.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
CDBG funds are used to supply decent housing, secure a suitable living
environment, and to expand economic opportunities
for individuals earning 80% or less of the area's median family income.
