Most of the 11 school districts in Marion County have magnet or choice schools. Children are eligible to attend magnet and choice schools within their school districts although they may need to enter a lottery, satisfy application requirements, or both. Finally, all children in Marion County are eligible to attend a charter school if they are chosen in a lottery.
